Softek has been a key contributor in the transformation of logistics management for the US Army. What used to be an echeloned, mass-inventory approach is now a more efficient and responsive distribution system, with accurate and timely information as the foundation. Softek has helped make this transformation possible and has enabled the success of the Single Army Logistics Enterprise (SALE) initiative. The US Army integrates various logistics business functions by providing a single source for enterprise hub services, centralized master data management, and business intelligence and analytics. The mission of the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) (formerly known as Product Lifecycle Management Plus [PLM+]) has been expanded to provide cross-domain integration services for the US Army’s business mission area. As a subcontractor, Softek’s team, of over 15 SAP-certified employees supporting the PLM+ program, have diligently worked hand in hand with our prime contractor starting from the blueprint phase all the way through the Go-Live phase. Also, Softek’s team has been actively supporting the current AESIP since the Go-Live phase.
As an integrator for the Defense Logistics Agency, the Softek team has worked side by side with our prime contractor to provide a full life cycle of web application development and support in customizing business processes and content management solutions. We worked with customers to define project requirements as well as design, develop, test, and implement customized solutions.
