Capture Manager
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers
- Pipeline Management
- Selection of Opportunities
- Collecting intelligence on opportunities through customer visits, research on previous awards, collaboration with partners
- Shaping opportunities through the RFI process, customer visits and collaboration with partners
- Identifying key partners for opportunity development and development of teaming relationships
- Bid/No-Bid recommendations to senior management
- Stand-up of Proposal Activities
- Execution of Proposal Activities
- Conduct of color reviews of proposal activities
- Development of pricing
- Supervision of all proposal personnel and management of partners participating in opportunity captures
Certifications
- None required by training in Shipley processes, possession of PMP or ITIL or other program management or capture/proposal certification a plus
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have 5-10 years of relevant experience with US government contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Location
- Work is remote but the candidate must reside in the National Capital Region to enable customer visits and attendance of relevant conferences in the local area
