Capture Manager

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers
  • Pipeline Management
  • Selection of Opportunities
  • Collecting intelligence on opportunities through customer visits, research on previous awards, collaboration with partners
  • Shaping opportunities through the RFI process, customer visits and collaboration with partners
  • Identifying key partners for opportunity development and development of teaming relationships
  • Bid/No-Bid recommendations to senior management
  • Stand-up of Proposal Activities
  • Execution of Proposal Activities
  • Conduct of color reviews of proposal activities
  • Development of pricing
  • Supervision of all proposal personnel and management of partners participating in opportunity captures

Certifications

  • None required by training in Shipley processes, possession of PMP or ITIL or other program management or capture/proposal certification a plus

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have 5-10 years of relevant experience with US government contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Location

  • Work is remote but the candidate must reside in the National Capital Region to enable customer visits and attendance of relevant conferences in the local area

Salary

  • Salary is based on the number of years of work experience
