Cybersecurity Specialist Sr – Cybersecurity Assessor
Responsibilities
- Use the DHS CSP criteria and inspection/assessment process
- Complete inspections/assessments within the schedule as determined by the CSP team and Federal Management
- Assess CSP and other system capabilities against accreditation criteria
- The CSP assessment team will need to become as familiar as possible within the given timeframe with capabilities and technologies being assessed to enable them to ask relevant questions and derive results
- Generate post-assessment reports for the PMO within 10 days or an alternative time designated based on the inspection/assessment and mutually agreed upon by the Federal Lead
- Identify trends and improvement opportunities based on assessment results
- Provide feedback to the PMO on process improvements and recommendations for future changes to the CSP and assessment criteria
Certifications
- At least any one of the following:
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must have 8 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Location
- This position requires the candidate to come on-site to the facility twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday), and work can be done remotely. The main facility is located in the National Capital Region within the DC Metropolitan area.
Salary
- Salary is based on the number of years of relevant work experience the candidate has.
