Cybersecurity Specialist Sr – Enterprise Assessment Lead

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the cybersecurity maturity level of the department. The assessment includes DHS component FISMA systems, IT programs, and Cloud systems.
  • Perform SOC and NOC accreditation and ongoing evaluation activities within DHS and for other Federal Agencies
  • Develop metrics and perform evaluations. Maintain and update metrics and methods to the NOC and SOC CSP programs as technology advances
  • Perform cybersecurity assessment/reviews including to High-Value Assets (HVA) Non-Tier 1 across the entire agency (i.e., Headquarters and DHS HQ components)
  • Perform compliance assessment for FISMA system
  • The CSP Program Management Office(PMO) support will be able to stand up the Cybersecurity services program and coordinate with the DHS personnel for the successful operation of the program

Certifications

  • At least one of the following:
    • CISSP
    • CISM
    • CSSP
    • CAP

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • Must have an active Top Secret security clearance
  • Must have 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Location

  • This position requires the candidate to come on-site to the facility twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday), and work can be done remotely. The main facility is located in the National Capital Region within the DC Metropolitan area.

Salary

  • Salary is based on the number of years of relevant work experience the candidate has.
