Security Architect
Responsibilities
- Provide CISOD with technical expertise to support enterprise-wide IT implementations and review technical waivers to ensure the risk is appropriately assessed and reflected for CISO’s approval

- Primary advisor to CISOD senior leadership on all DHS Security Architectural issues
- Review STIG waivers submitted by components that identify the cybersecurity weakness or deficiency but cannot be implemented and require a Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M)
Certifications
- Certification in their respective subject areas
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must have 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced understanding in the area of Information Assurance disciplines
- Experience providing expert consultative support to a functional technical area of the project
- Experience working closely with the team to identify the best solution to organizational processes or technical issues
Location
- This position requires the candidate to come on-site to the facility twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday), and work can be done remotely. The main facility is located in the National Capital Region within the DC Metropolitan area.
Salary
- Salary is based on the number of years of relevant work experience the candidate has.
