Senior Database/System/Application Admin
Responsibilities
- Develop customer surveys and input to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc reports, meeting minutes, and user feedback, and propose improvements accordingly to project PM/SME
- Assist federal staff with coordinating and hosting customer engagement events
- Assist federal staff with maintaining and improving the customer community and service portal
- Assist federal staff with creating and maintaining the cybersecurity services catalog for CISOD
- Develop training materials to support and reinforce cybersecurity knowledge and process
- Maintain and develop computer-based training to support cybersecurity tools and process training
- Coordinate and execute training sessions per required frequency
- Maintain Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and repository for support articles and whitepapers
- Track and maintain computer-based training published to knowledge management systems
- Solicit topic areas from HQ components to provide hands-on training and be present at Working Group meetings
- Develop unique Cybersecurity training materials and resources to guide HQ components regarding processes, changes, documentation, and understanding of responsibilities. This can be provided in-person, online, or on a training platform like PALMs or FedVTE
- Develop training for users across HQ components based on the new changes recommended by DHS Management for this Fiscal Year (FY)
- Provide weekly/monthly reports, meetings minutes, user feedback, and propose improvements accordingly to Project Manager/Subject Matter Expert
- Provide weekly reports to Federal Lead on the DR reviews conducted and issues resolved or outstanding. Provide System Health Reports when requested
- Provide customer service support to respond to DHS Help Desk tickets that pertain to DR and SA-related activities. Develop unique OA training materials and resources to guide the Information System Security Officers regarding the process, understanding, and of OA responsibilities
Certification
- At least one of the following:
- CISSP
- CAP
- CompTIA Security+
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must have 4 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Location
- This position requires the candidate to come on-site to the facility twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday), and work can be done remotely. The main facility is located in the National Capital Region within the DC Metropolitan area.
Salary
- Salary is based on the number of years of relevant work experience the candidate has.
